Solar panel cleaning
Dirt, moss, pollen and bird droppings block sunlight and reduce the power your panels make. Rain does not wash everything off, especially on panels with a low pitch. We clean panels safely, without harsh chemicals and without walking on the panels.

How we clean
- Purified water, which dries without leaving marks
- Soft brushes that do not scratch the glass
- Water-fed poles from the ground where the roof allows, or safe access equipment where it does not
- No detergents that can damage panel coatings or seals
- A visual check of each panel while we clean
When to book a clean
- Your output has dropped and the panels look dirty
- Birds roost near the panels
- The panels have a low pitch, or sit near trees, farms or busy roads
- You want a clean before or after a maintenance visit
What you get
- Clean panels and frames
- A note of any damage we see, such as cracks, scorch marks or loose fixings
- Before and after photos when you ask for them

Questions
Can I clean the panels myself?
We do not recommend going on the roof. Pressure washers and household cleaners can also damage panels. A professional clean is safer.
Can you add cleaning to a maintenance plan?
Yes. See Solar maintenance plans.
