About JBV Homes
JBV Homes installs and looks after solar energy systems, and carries out insulation, roofing and damp work on the homes they sit on. Our office is in Leyton, East London, and our teams work across the whole of the UK.
Two teams, one company
Solar and energy
Our solar team designs and fits panels, inverters and batteries. It also repairs, maintains and cleans systems that other companies installed. We add EV chargers, heat pumps and voltage optimisers when a home is ready for them.
Property and insulation
Our property team removes spray foam, fits loft insulation, seals roofs and treats damp, rafters and raft foundations. Our quantity surveyors visit first and price the work under our RICS accreditation.
Many homes need both. A roof with solar panels must be sound, dry and well insulated, so we can look at the whole house and give you one plan.

When one of their customers reports a fault, the manufacturer can send that customer to us. That is why we run a 24/7 emergency line, and why our engineers know these systems well.
Certified and accredited
MCS certified
JBV Homes is certified by MCS, the Microgeneration Certification Scheme. MCS sets the UK standard for small-scale renewable energy installations. An MCS certified installation is usually needed to earn payments under the Smart Export Guarantee and to claim government grants such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
RICS accreditation
JBV Homes is accredited with RICS, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Our quantity surveyors assess each property before property work starts, so the quote reflects the real condition of the house.
How we work
- Clear quotes
- Every quote is in writing and stays open for 30 days.
- Fair payment terms
- A 25% deposit is due before installation starts. The balance is due on completion.
- Your rights protected
- If you order away from our office, you have a 14-day right to cancel. Our Terms and Conditions of Supply set out every right and duty in plain language.
- One point of contact
- The same office handles your quote, your installation and your aftercare.
